Cricket Fever Hits BGC!

On Saturday April 20th members from the PYC and Britannia clubhouses were treated to a hands on cricket demonstration in the Britannia gymnasium. Members learned how to run, field, and throw before trying their hand at a live batting session to cap off the day. Smiles and laughter were in good supply as the instructors walked members through a series of fun drills aimed at introducing the sport to children. Everyone did a fantastic job and really picked up the techniques quickly. At the end of the day everyone agreed that they’d love to learn more about the sport and can’t wait to try playing a live game down the road. A huge thank you to Carlo and his Youth Cricket Academy team for putting on this awesome clinic!
